In any case these necessary details represent minor spoilers, and it should be no big deal to know them before experiencing them in-game. The other pages will not contain unnecessary info on the plot, but as you can expect sometimes it's just necessary to mention things like the name of a location. The first two Story Walkthrough pages, which deal with the events of the main story, are entirely spoiler-free. Moreover, as you can imagine, all the planning and calculations on things like the ingredients to obtain when mopping up the quests will not work well for you anymore if you've been doing other things. The more you stick with the Story Walkthrough pages, the better and the faster everything will be. Do not, say, start a Quest and then check the Quests page because you decide to complete it earlier than where it's written in the Story Walkthrough pages. Therefore, unless you really need to, please try not to deviate from the Story Walkthrough pages. All these pages can be used as an extra resource to find extra info and details whenever you need them, and they should also work quite well as "checklists" too, but all the info they have are included in one of the Story Walkthrough pages or another. For example, there are pages dedicated to the Spaceship Data collection and the Monster Data collection, pages related to the Equipment and a list of the Item Creation. In addition to this step-by-step guide, which is the only one I suggest you to follow, there are other pages that contain, separately, the information on different things related to achievements, more or less directly expressed. All the thinking, calculations and strategies have been done so you "only" have to do what I have said, without any extra effort required on your side to know how to proceed or how to optimize your routes to save time. Everything has been planned to avoid any time-wasting, and for this reason I will try to "push" you towards the end of the game as soon as possible, leaving all the optionals for later. I will lead you step by step through everything that this game can offer, from the basic story progression to the side quests and farming. In particular, you will find five Story Walkthrough pages (plus another one dedicated to the Universe/Chaos playthroughs) which contain everything that you need to know in order to achieve 1,000 G. This walkthrough has been structured so it contains all the information you need expressed in more than one way. Universe is unlocked by clearing the game on Galaxy difficulty, and Chaos is unlocked by completing the game on Universe difficulty Two achievements for completing the game on Universe and Chaos difficulty (50/50). For some "technical reasons" you need at least "one playthrough and a half" to get them all (you will understand what this means in due time, i.e. Ten achievements awarded for collecting the 900 Battle Trophies available (one achievement every 90 Battle Trophies) (48/50). The second of them can be considered missable since you need a missable item (the Earth Ring) to reach the boss it's not technically impossible to do without it, but the odds are close to 0% Two achievements for defeating the bosses in the post-game dungeons (38/50). These are best ground out at the end of the game Five achievements related to the Colosseum fights and races (36/50). Some Recipes are missable, so the 100%-Item Creation achievement is missable (31/50) Five achievements related to Item Creation (you must create each of the 321 Recipes at least once). Some Quests are missable, so the 100%-Quests achievement is missable (26/50) Three achievements related to completing 30%, 60% and 100% of the 201 Quests. Four of these achievements are missable, since some of the required entries are not available at the end of the game (23/50) Six achievements related to "Collections": two for opening all the 403 Treasure Chests (one of them is for opening 50% of the chests), two for collecting each of the 154 Monster Data (one of them is for collecting 50% of the monster data), one for collecting each of the 147 Weapon Data, one for collecting each of the 22 Spaceship Data. Nine "secret ending" achievements awarded at the end of the game if your "affinity" with characters is high enough (see General hints and tips) (17/50). Eight story-related achievements awarded after defeating the main bosses of the game (8/50) The achievements can be grouped as follows: It requires a lot of farming, grinding and time but most importantly a lot of patience on your side. Achieving 1,000 G in this game is one of the most intense challenges offered by a game on the X360. Hi and welcome to the Star Ocean: The Last Hope walkthrough.
